”THEY”
WHAT:
THEY - group Art Exhibition
Finally , an answer to a question that has plagued
humanity since the dawn of time: Who are “THEY”?
It turns out , Bill “13:11″ McEvoy and a gang of ultra
talented artists have decided to show us what the
“Powers That Be ” never wanted us to see. The TRUTH!
(well at least a possible truth.)
The Reptilians walk amongst us.
Not only do they walk amongst us, but they practically
control every facet of our daily lives.
“They” are our Government Officials , They are our
Teachers and our Law enforcement. They have been here
since The serpent first urged Eve to eat from the tree
of knowledge. They plan to be here well after the
human race is broken down into nothing more than
cattle prepped for the slaughterhouse.
WHO:
Bill 13:11 Mcevoy, Ken Ruzic, Augie Pagan, BigTOE,Gregory Rodriquez,
Mike Bilz, Randy Kono, Jeremy Simmons,Max Neutra,LD Grant,NC winters,Ten-4 Studios,
Paul Torres, David Lozeau & More!
In their own unique and interesting styles, this team
of skilled artists , most of whom spend their days
working professionally as commercial artists, have
banded together to give the public a peek under the
proverbial rug. Their goal to simply shine a light in
the darkness that is “THEY”. Fun and fanciful ,
serious and technical the individual artists weave an
aesthetic that tells a complete story and is dripping
with Technicolor eye candy.
WHEN:
And you can see it all on the opening reception April 12th
7pm-midnight. Exhibit runs through May 3rdm

don’t miss this EPIC group art show that will feature original artwork from over 70 prominent SURF, HOTROD, TIKI and other “outsider” artists.
The show opens MARCH 15 at The Light Gallery in Costa Mesa.
Some of the amazing group of surf, outsider and tiki artists who have committed so far:
The Pizz, Rick Reitveld, Jeral Tidwell, Drew Brophy, John Bell, Candy, Miles Thompson, Damian, BigToe, Mr.G, Doug Dorr, Grimb, Steve Caballero, Ken Ruzic, Dave Lozeau, Bamboo Ben, Fudemae, Max Grundy, Aaron Kraten, Fudemae, Squindo, James Mcleod, Keith Ciarmello, The mysterious 13:11, Dirk Hays, Buddy June, Crazy Al, Scott Aicher, Chongolio, Doug Horne, Atomic Kitty, Justin Barry, Chainsaw Chuck Majewski, Von Poot, Dale Sizer, Nik Scarlett, Dark Vomit, Paul Torres, Joe Vitale, Bob Penuelas, Augie pagan, Mike Sosnowski, Tiki ray, TV-1, Ryzart, E.T.7, Brian Viveros, Link David, and many more talented artists from all over the globe!
The collision of artwork featuring surfing and hotrod cultural influences may seem like a recipe for disaster. But in the case of SurfBEAT, the Light Gallery in Costa Mesa is putting together a tasty occular feast sure to please the most discriminating devotees of “outsider art”.
Surfing and hotrod cultures, along with fascination with the decadent psuedo-polynesian tiki culture, all blossomed in the 50s, when hipster baby boomers explored their sense of individuality and rebellion. They offer in common today, as they did then, a haven for outsiders, folks disenchanted with the promise of main-stream media and the American Dream.
In the art world, the academic and traditional gallery communities have been slow to warm to the allure of the art produced by these outsiders. Artwork inspired by surfing, hotrods and tikis, in all its forms, revels in It’s representational depiction of familiar cultural icons of the “wrong side of the tracks”. This aesthetic has been shunned by the leaders of the “high-brow” art world.
SurfBEAT features a broad cross-section of what is collectively referred to as “lowbrow” artists. From world-renowned to local heroes: Surf artists, Animators, Hotrod air-brushers, tattoo artists, skateboard artists, concert poster illustrators, tiki carvers, pin-up photographers and sundry ne’er-do-well artists converge in a celebration of decadence sure to titillate and amuse all but the most puritanical pillars of the community.
The show opens MARCH 15 at The Light Gallery in Costa Mesa.

Chris Dyer is a soul with high intentions for himself and humanity. A soul on a quest for new consciousnesses through meditation, physical traveling and natural drug experimentations. A medium of the Most High who opens his vessel and tries to let go of the temporary ego and complications of his mind. A true soul skater, despite all the bails.
He grew up in Lima, Peru till the age of 17 where he engaged in such activities as surfing, banana-board skateboarding, and soccer fanatism (with his ex-street gang, SepUlcro). He now lives in Montreal where he continues his journey to self-realize, on a more peaceful vibe.
Chris’ main objective is to do his part in raising humanity’s consciousness. According to all spiritual paths and science (Quantum Physics) we are Godly beings that create our own reality. Delivering positive images to the youth, via the skateboard graphics he produces, is the powerful seed that can manifest a happier reality for us all.
Career wise, Chris is responsible for a great part of the graphics for Creation, a true roots skate brand from San Francisco (if ya didn’t know). He also has done work for Satori Movement, Westside (Florida), Think, Equilibrium (Peru), Freak(Belgium), Drop Dead (Brazil), Semilla (Chile), etc. He also has his own Hemp clothing line called Positive Creations, based in Montreal.
As for his fine arts Career, he has had solid solo and group exhibitions in countries like Peru, Mexico, Belgium, San Francisco, Seattle, Whistler-BC, and of course Montreal. Japan and Argentina are on his future plans.
Other than these trips to expose his art, Chris has also done some extensive journeys through lands like Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, East Timor, Guatemala, Hawaii, Burma, Belize, the States, Europe and Canada of course (where he worked as a tree-planter for 3 summers). All these experiences add to the cultural richness and oneness message of Chris’ work.
